Position Overview
Located in the vibrant Roma region, this role is pivotal in supporting the daily functions at one of the largest cattle saleyards in the Southern Hemisphere. The position offers a unique blend of responsibilities and opportunities to engage with various aspects of livestock management.
Key Responsibilities
As a Livestock Operations Specialist, your contributions will be essential to the efficient functioning of the saleyard. Your tasks will include:
- Inducting cattle into the facility and coordinating truck loading
- Handling livestock with care, including the drafting process
- Executing ear tagging and NLIS scanning procedures
- Providing insightful feedback and reporting issues to senior personnel
