Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Associate Director with strong real estate finance experience to lead our team in efficient execution of credit transactions and oversight management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of analysts and associates in investment analysis and transaction management.
  • Structure and negotiate terms for subordinated credit and complex credit investments.
  • Project management and deal leadership in the execution and analysis of investments, including ensuring accuracy in preparation of transaction modelling, leading the preparation of transaction review and investment committee papers and term sheets, assisting with the presentation of transaction proposals to the investment committee, and overseeing documentation review and negotiation.
  • Manage external stakeholder relationships throughout the deal life cycle and ensure negotiated outcomes are consistent with relevant approvals.
  • Ensure delivery of all fund, investor and transaction reporting on time and to the requisite assessment standard.
  • Contribute to the training and development of Associates and Analysts.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience across relevant disciplines in real estate gained in banking, private equity, advisory or investment management.
  • A tertiary qualification with a preference for related fields such as finance, commerce, construction, real estate, or legal.
  • Understanding of construction risks, documentation and contract risks.
  • General understanding of principles of taxation impacting investment decisions.
  • Influence outcomes, motivate individuals and persuade critical internal and external stakeholders.
