Travel Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of travel logistics and the ability to coordinate smooth travel experiences for colleagues and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with colleagues to address travel queries and issues, ensuring timely resolutions and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the wider business services team to plan and execute company and industry events, including vendor management and event coordination.
  • Hold travel vendors accountable for providing exceptional service, monitoring performance metrics and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely payments, credits, and refunds for travel-related expenses.
  • Track trends, spend, emissions, and compliance with company policy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Analyze unused tickets, credits, and airline points usage, optimizing travel benefits and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a business or technical field, with excellent academic results at school and university.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to four times a year for company events, with a maximum duration of two weeks.
  • Proficiency in learning new technology and software quickly, with a willingness to adapt to changing systems and processes.
