About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a Permanent Relief Team member, you will work across assigned regions, ensuring continuity and high-quality education and care for children attending our services when a regular staff member is absent.

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early education in a play-based setting. You may also be called upon to temporarily fill the role of Director or Nominated Supervisor, guiding and managing a team of educators and ensuring smooth program implementation and development.

Requirements
  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma in Early Childhood
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, with Teachers also requiring separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Teacher Accreditation for the relevant state
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW) and Working with Vulnerable People (ACT)
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Drivers License and own vehicle
