Job Description

The Therapeutic Franchise Head will serve as an operational expert in a specific area of therapeutic expertise, responsible for the development of strategies to support new business proposals and the delivery of contracted work in clinical trials within their area of expertise.

  • Work with experts to differentiate Emerald Clinical from its competitors and actively support long-term business growth through collaboration with functional area heads and other stakeholders.
  • Develop effective delivery strategies and solutions for all projects in assigned areas of operational expertise.
  • Create training materials and a library of resources to support project leads in their project deliverables.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Operational strategy: Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish Emerald Clinical as a market leader and drive sustainable growth through cross-functional partnerships.
  • Responsible for creating successful project delivery strategies and solutions for all projects within designated areas of expertise.
  • Develop high-quality training materials and a comprehensive resource library to support project team members in achieving their project objectives.
New Business Opportunities:
  • Collaborate with business development to evaluate and manage new opportunities from receipt through pricing and proposal development.
  • Support business development in preparing for and conducting customer-facing meetings.
  • Presentation at customer meetings including bid defense and partnership meetings.
About You:
  • A degree in a related science or healthcare field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of global clinical research experience with a proven track record in hands-on operational project delivery and/or drug development experience.
  • Expertise in one or more operational areas and ability to understand and implement projects within assigned areas of expertise.
