Job Title: Product Owner

This is an opportunity to take on a key role in ensuring the success of a financial system that benefits Australians.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a Product Owner who will act as an escalation point, driving register modernisation and user interface improvements.
  • You will lead Business Analysts in developing high-quality business requirements and collaborate closely with Senior Leaders, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish a Product Backlog, capturing and documenting business and functional requirements for platform applications.
  2. Partner with delivery teams to refine requirements and develop solutions aligned with business needs.
  3. Engage with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Product Leads to understand ASIC business processes.
  4. Work closely with Delivery Teams to define acceptance criteria for One ASIC Platform solutions.
  5. Support Product Managers in coordinating business testing (UAT and PVT).
Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or proven experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business needs, resolve issues, and document effective solutions.
  • Strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders to elicit requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits:

This is a 36-Month Full Time Fixed Term Contract Position available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Traralgon locations. The salary is $126,716 to $144,386 plus 15.4% superannuation.
