As a key player in our Product Design and Engineering Team, you will be responsible for developing innovative hardware products from concept to production.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your design engineering skills to drive our projects to success and exceed customer expectations.

About the Role

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards of quality, performance, and user experience.

  • Negotiate and collaborate with various departments, including Customer Experience, Product Management, Manufacturing, Material Engineering, and technology groups to refine and execute product vision.
  • Develop technical knowledge in areas outside your expertise to understand other teams' design constraints and craft creative solutions to technical problems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal manufacturing experts to optimize designs for function, aesthetic, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities

Utilize design thinking to navigate discovery and delivery processes.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Conceptualize ideas through multiple mediums, including sketches, low-fidelity prototypes, and rapid prototyping.

Utilize 3D CAD to communicate detailed designs ensuring fit, form, and function, including tolerance analysis and DFMEA.

Conduct feasibility studies, create prototypes, and perform rigorous testing to validate design concepts.

Utilize 2D CAD tools to develop part specifications and technical drawings to communicate detailed designs with suppliers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software, such as Creo, SolidWorks, or NX.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and strategically.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly communicate design ideas and contribute to brainstorming.
