Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative hardware products from concept to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience.
- Negotiate and collaborate with various departments to refine and execute the vision for the product.
- Develop technical knowledge in areas outside your realm of expertise to understand other teams' design constraints and craft creative solutions to technical problems.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and internal manufacturing experts to optimise designs for function, aesthetic, and manufacturability.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, NX).
- An understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal, ability to clearly communicate design ideas, contribute to brainstorming.
