About Our Medical Surgical Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit. This dynamic team provides compassionate care to patients, working alongside dedicated Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. With a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Our team utilizes self-scheduling software to ensure flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

In addition to your clinical skills, we value your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or a compact state
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS certification within 12 months of hire
  • One year of experience in a medical surgical setting preferred
