Job Summary:

Requirements:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner

  • The ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

About the Hospital:

The hospital is a large 651-bed teaching hospital located just 10 minutes from the CBD. It has a complex consisting of 694 adult beds and 126 paediatric beds in the Children's Hospital. The CAMHS unit has 12 beds. The hospital is situated in a leafy green suburb with maintained native bushland, hiking trails, picnic areas, and a native animal enclosure. Newcastle's beaches, architecture, and vibrant arts scene make it a unique and laidback lifestyle destination.
