Job Description\

As a key member of our team, you will operate and deliver on 3-Wheeled Electric Delivery Vehicles, showcasing the trusted face of Australia Post in your community.

You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a team that connects Australians every day.

The role involves:

  • Sorting mail and small parcels with teammates at the facility early in the morning
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks to ensure safe operation
  • Loading vehicles with deliveries for the day, prioritizing timely and efficient service
  • Delivering outdoors in various weather conditions to homes and businesses

Prior experience is not necessary, as we provide Rider Mentors who engage and support your professional development.

\Required Skills and Qualifications\

We are looking for individuals with the following characteristics:

  • A full or probationary driver's license (QLD/WA/SA/ACT) allowing for flexible travel arrangements
  • Ability to successfully pass a mandatory and practical riding assessment demonstrating confidence and competence
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required, ensuring seamless operations
  • Excellent memory, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Meeting safe working load limits of weighing 120kgs or less
