Courier Supervisor Job Description

As a Courier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our courier fleet in the Sydney region.

  • Fleet Management: You will be in charge of managing the fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are regularly serviced and maintained.
  • Vehicle Allocation: Allocate local fleet vehicles across the regions as needed to ensure efficient delivery services.
  • Departmental Performance: Ensure the department performs its function in accordance with all policies and procedures, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Courier Recruitment and Induction: Manage the recruitment and induction process for new couriers.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure all stock and orders are delivered promptly to the requesting clients without delay.

This role requires previous logistics experience and knowledge of the geographical area. The ability to plan, execute, and manage changes effectively and on time is essential. Strong customer service, communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are also required. A full Australian Drivers License and eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand are mandatory qualifications.
