About the Role

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities across various facilities and infrastructure at Vault Minerals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental management systems, and relevant legislative requirements by participating in initiatives, toolbox meetings, investigations, training, and audits.
  • Effectively lead the day-to-day activities of the electrical team, including contractors, to ensure awareness of performance targets and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Electrical Coordinator to plan, schedule, and allocate tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen by ensuring cost performance aligns with maintenance budgets and forecast expectations.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge, including staying updated on legislative changes, to consistently achieve deliverables.
  • Implement initiatives to reinforce Zero Incident Process (ZIP) and promote best practices in occupational health risks, lifestyle initiatives, and hygiene management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in mineral processing plants, particularly gold camps, with extensive knowledge of associated infrastructure services.
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance development experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Knowledge of the WHS Act and Regulations.
  • Ability to be appointed as Nominee for In-house Electrical Installing Work Licence.
  • Recognized trade qualification.
  • Valid 'C' Class drivers' licence.
