Job Overview

A seasoned environmental expert is sought after to spearhead environmental planning and strategy for mining and quarry projects across New South Wales.

This presents an exceptional opportunity to take on senior responsibilities, review, steer and deliver key project outputs including EIAs, Management Plans, audits and strategic advice, supporting senior colleagues and junior team members.

The Role
  • Lead the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments, Management Plans, and site consents
  • Provide expert strategic input to projects from exploration through to site closure
  • Mentor and support a team of consultants and juniors with technical review and guidance
  • Build strong relationships with mining and quarry operators, regulators and stakeholders
  • Work on diverse projects across NSW, including gold, silver, metals, construction materials and specialty quarries
Key Requirements

We require a professional with 10+ years of experience in environmental science/planning with a focus on mining/quarry projects who possesses strong technical delivery skills across EIAs, approvals and environmental management.

Candidates should be able to guide and support junior staff members, have a pragmatic approach and a passion for applying strategy and delivering high-quality reports.
