Job Summary

Assistant Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic childcare professional to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging space for primary school-aged children to learn, play, and thrive.

The Assistant Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Coordinator to develop exciting play-based learning programs that help children reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and will possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Coordinator in leading a fun and inclusive environment for children.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work collaboratively with the OSHC team to provide high-quality care and education to children.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
  • Hold a certificate of training in child protection and full first-aid.
  • Possess a NSW Working with Children check and have current and valid working rights in Australia.
  • Qualifications in Child Education and Care or the willingness to work towards them are desirable.
