Minor Hotels is seeking a skilled professional to fill the newly created position of Senior Central Systems Manager. This pivotal role offers the chance to make a significant impact by driving efficient process management, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring the prompt resolution of challenges across key projects undertaken by Minor Hotels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advising in the configuration and optimisation of Oracle OPERA Cloud, Oracle OPERA Reservation System (ORS/OCIS), and Opera Web Service (OWS).\
  • Ensuring seamless integration of Property Management Systems with commercial and operational processes.\
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve existing processes, driving efficiency and innovation across IT and operational workflows.\
  • Leveraging data insights to recommend enhancements to support strategic objectives.\
  • Collaborating with directors, executives, and managers to understand business needs and deliver system solutions aligned with organisational goals.\
  • Applying in-depth knowledge of Hotel Operations and the Management Letting Rights business in Australia to align systems with operational requirements.\
  • Managing IT-related projects to completion, meeting scope, time, and quality benchmarks.\
  • Staying updated on global distribution systems and commercial processes, ensuring alignment with international best practices.\

The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing staff, with a strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve departmental goals and maintain exceptional service standards.

Flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and other peak periods as required will also be essential.
