We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at AutoCareers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing thorough diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins to execute accurate repairs.
- Provide clear explanations of repair needs and solutions to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
- Adhere to safety procedures and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Proven expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide clear explanations of repair needs.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Certification from an accredited automotive training program or equivalent experience preferred.
