Restaurant Team Member Vacancy

Job Description:

A restaurant team member/kitchen hand vacancy exists. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation and ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the premises.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cleaning kitchens and food preparation areas
  • Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables or fruit
  • Transferring, weighing, and checking supplies and equipment
  • Preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries, and sandwiches
  • Setting up food and beverage trays for serving to customers
  • Cooking, toasting, and heating food items as needed on the grill

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience working in a restaurant (preferred)
  • Ability to work varied shifts including afternoon, evening, night shifts, overtime, rotating roster, and shift work
  • Capacity to commute or relocate to Balwyn, VIC 3103
