Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of financial and technical submissions for tendering activities, revising costs, and managing recommendation documentation relating to refrigeration and air conditioning installation for retail sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management: Manage day-to-day procurement (including tendering activities and recommendations) of refrigeration investment.
  • Tender Strategy Development: Support the development of the tendering strategy for refrigeration investment (design, installation, equipment procurement & maintenance).
  • Contract Scope Establishment: Establish the scope and specifications of contracts for which submissions are prepared.
  • Engineering Design Intent Maintenance: Ensure engineering design intent and field feedback is maintained during scoping and tendering.
  • Construction Schedule Alignment: Manage tendering activity in alignment with construction schedules.
  • Accurate Tender Scopes: Prepare accurate, timely tender scopes and submissions; assist with variation submission validity and value.
  • Safety, Time, Cost, Quality Accountability: Accountability for Safety/Time/Cost/Quality for refrigeration, HVAC and engineering scopes of works.
  • Tender Award Management: Manage tendering and awarding of works for refrigeration, HVAC and engineering.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure services are delivered to latest kit and specifications.
  • Project Financials Management: Manage project financials including cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Site Condition Audit Reports: Scope, review and provide condition audit reports for existing sites.
  • Liaison with Property Owners: Liaise with property owners/landlords/developers on sites.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Support on-site sustainability initiatives (e.g., refrigeration replacements, retrofit of doors on open cases).
  • Post-Project Documentation: Coordinate post-project documentation and warranty work.
