About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at Vicinity Centres. As a key member of our Retail Management Team, you will play a critical role in delivering retailer engagement strategies and maximizing net property income.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all storage licenses, including temporary Christmas storage requests and reconfigurations.
  • Assist with development impacts and storage relocations, including vacate notices.
  • Act as the relationship liaison for a number of assigned tenants, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Participate in the compilation of the monthly management report, including key retailer insights on sales performance.
  • Assess the performance of retailers and identify opportunities to improve sales.
  • Regularly meet with retailers, including debt collection and discussing business growth opportunities.
  • Take on additional tasks as required to support the Retail team.
Key Relationships

You will work closely with:

  • Retail and commercial tenants
  • Customers
  • Centre management team
  • Vicinity casual mall leasing, Brandspace, Leasing, AR and Development teams
Capability and Experience
  • You will have experience working in a similar team coordination role, ideally within retail or a customer service industry.
  • You will have extensive experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • You will bring outstanding communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions within the organization.
  • You will have a strong ability to multitask, coupled with an excellent attention to detail.
  • You will have a positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a customer service ethic that is second to none.
  • You will be adaptable in your approach and responsive to the needs of stakeholders and leaders you support.
  • You will understand the diverse nature of our business, customers, and people.
  • You will actively contribute to a positive environment within the team.
