About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer to join our team at Legal Aid NSW. As an Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cognitive Automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end lifecycle implementation of RPA and Cognitive Automation technologies
  • Design and build automated solutions using Blue Prism Infrastructure and Robotic Operating Model (ROM)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, and present solutions to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and architecture concepts, including OCR, AI, chatbots, virtual agents, and human-in-the-loop/attended automation tools
  • Work with business areas to support the development and delivery of automated solution designs, and contribute to an environment of continuous learning and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering RPA and Cognitive Automation projects, with a solid understanding of Blue Prism Infrastructure and ROM
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and document requirements, and present solutions to business stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education, and a willingness to uphold the Department's values and principles
