Senior Environmental Consultant Position

This role is ideal for an experienced environmental professional looking to take their career to the next level.

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of our contaminated sites group, you will be responsible for assessing and remediating contaminated land across major infrastructure projects, urban developments, and industrial sites.

You will work closely with our team of experts, including EPA auditors, to develop and implement effective remediation strategies. Your technical expertise and strong communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to achieve project objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on complex contaminated site assessments and remediation projects;
  • Develop and implement innovative remediation strategies;
  • Mentor junior consultants and graduates;
  • Contribute to the development of proprietary technology and tools.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in environmental science or a related field;
  • At least 6-10 years of experience in environmental consulting, preferably in contaminated site assessment and remediation;
  • Strong technical knowledge of contaminant chemistry and fate and transport processes;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
