About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to contribute to high-profile contaminated land projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental professionals.

As a Contaminated Land Auditor Assistant, you will support our accredited auditors in conducting environmental assessments, compliance reviews, and remediation strategies for various sites.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of environmental site assessments, audit reports, and remediation strategies; gathering, analysing, and interpreting environmental data; supporting the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation; liaising with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders; conducting site visits; staying updated on local and national contaminated land regulations and guidelines; contributing to project planning, scheduling, and risk assessments; and maintaining accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field; 2+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation, or environmental auditing; familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations, guidelines, and risk assessment frameworks; strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail; experience with environmental data analysis and GIS software is advantageous; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation, or environmental auditing.
  • Familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations, guidelines, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with environmental data analysis and GIS software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
