Community & Social Services Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community & Social Services Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to our clients in their own homes and local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Support Client Independence: Assist clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Facilitate Social Connections: Encourage and support clients to maintain social connections and relationships, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Provide Manual Handling Support: Assist clients with physical tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, using manual handling techniques to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Communicate Effectively: Listen actively to clients' needs, concerns, and preferences, and communicate effectively with them, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Qualifications: Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or be currently studying a nursing degree with an Aged Care clinical placement.
- Experience: Previous experience in a personal care role in Aged Care (desirable but not essential).
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to work to required resident outcomes, current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificate, and a valid Driver's Licence and Car.
- Work Rights: Hold current Working Rights in Australia.
