Brand Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Brand Portfolio Strategist to join our team in Fremantle. As a key member of the marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of marketing strategies for our pork portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer insights and market trends, with the ability to identify new volume and profit growth areas. You will partner with internal stakeholders to develop new initiatives and programs to meet consumer needs, deliver against brand strategies, and drive business objectives.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships and leading cross-functional teams. If you have a relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8 years sales and/or marketing experience in FMCG, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess opportunities and future trends by leveraging consumer research and collaborating with functional experts to identify new volume and profit growth areas.

  • Manage alignment with domestic and export markets on the brand growth plans on an annual basis.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop new initiatives and programs to meet consumer needs, deliver against brand strategies, and drive business objectives.

  • Drive commercialisation of brand positioning, innovation, consumer communications/messaging to deliver brand objectives via clear direction/guidance and effective resource allocation decisions.

  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports, local marketing support, and external agencies to achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 8 years sales and/or marketing experience in FMCG environment.

  • Consumer brand management experience with a focus on consumer insights.

  • Superior relationship-building skills and senior stakeholder management are essential.
