Exercise Physiologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Brisbane.

Our patients strive for optimal health and wellness, having experienced stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, substance misuse, dependency, grief, trauma and eating disorders.

A key objective of our physical therapy program is that guests continue to engage in exercise within an appropriate setting post-residential program. Essential skills include engaging with and motivating guests, as well as understanding self-management approaches.

This role will primarily take place at our Samford Valley Residences but will also involve providing excellent care for guests at our Day Program facility in Bowen Hills.

About the Role

  • Deliver 3-5 years' experience in Exercise Physiology and clinic/in-patient service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to care for individuals in recovery.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and response to emergency situations.
  • Understanding of addiction treatments and Sana Health Group's aims and objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of current legislation and privacy laws.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and independently.
