Building and Timber Pest Inspector Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building and Timber Pest Inspector to join our team, serving the Eastern and Western suburbs of Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and construction, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. They should be registered as a builder, inspector, or surveyor and possess sound knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting pre-purchase building and timber pest inspections
  • Carrying out building defect inspections
  • Performing independent construction stage inspections for clients
  • Assessing asset condition and lifecycle

Training will be provided to the right candidate looking to advance their career in this rapidly growing sector. The role offers the opportunity to work in a bespoke team, providing excellent service to clients in the Eastern and Western suburbs of Melbourne.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Registered Builder, Building Inspector, or Building Surveyor
  • Sound knowledge of the industry
  • Completed Pest/Termite Certificate with Units 8 & 10 for inspecting and reporting on Termite & Timber Pests (or willing to complete)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
