We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our multidisciplinary team in Brisbane.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil designs using 12D, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D software.
You will also create 3D visualizations and rendered images/movies, prepare engineering drawings aligned with industry standards, and support construction projects with site inspections and design updates.
In addition, you will collaborate with GIS teams and provide CAD data in GIS format, contribute to projects involving tailings dams, haul roads, closure landforms, and more.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in civil design and drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, and/or Civil 3D, and experience in mining or land development earthworks.
A diploma or associate degree in civil engineering or a similar field is required, as well as strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver detailed civil designs using 12D, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D software
- Create 3D visualizations and rendered images/movies
- Prepare engineering drawings aligned with industry standards
- Support construction projects with site inspections and design updates
- Collaborate with GIS teams and provide CAD data in GIS format
To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in civil design and drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, and/or Civil 3D
- Experience in mining or land development earthworks
- Diploma or associate degree in civil engineering or a similar field
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
