Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Gardens Labourer to join our team at FlexiStaff. As a Town Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our parks and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general garden maintenance, including planting, mulching, and trimming of native flora and weeds.
  • Manage and maintain turf, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
  • Operate ride-on mowers and small plant equipment, such as brush cutters, chainsaws, whipper snippers, blowers, and hedgers.
  • Work efficiently while prioritizing health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid White Card.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months' experience in a landscaping role.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence (MR desirable).
  • Have experience in the use of ride-on mowers (desirable).
  • Hold a Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable).
  • Hold a current National Police Certificate.
  • Pass a Drug and Alcohol test and be physically fit.
