Job Description

Gray Puksand is seeking a dynamic and motivated Interior Designer to join our Canberra team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and experience with Revit, as well as excellent presentation and rendering skills.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including commercial, mixed-use, health, and seniors living. Our designers are passionate about creating beautiful, authentic, and considered projects that improve the way people work, learn, and live.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to all project phases, from concept design to construction management and contract administration. You will also participate in client briefings, workshops, and design development, creating designs and documentations in Revit and preparing presentations to communicate designs in multiple forms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (either completed or partially completed)
  • Familiarity with Revit (proven experience will be highly regarded)
  • Strong presentation and rendering skills; Sketch-up, Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape, and Rhino will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with team members, consultants, and clients
  • Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects
  • Personal pride and accountability in your work
  • Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work on more than one project as required
