About the Opportunity

Seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to assist solicitors in a legal setting.

The role involves conducting research, drafting documents, and providing findings to lawyers.

You will gain valuable hands-on experience and develop your skills and knowledge in a legal office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with research, drafting, and document preparation;
  • Conducting legal research and analysis, and providing findings to the lawyers;
  • All aspects of file management including opening, maintenance, closing, and archiving matters;
  • Taking client enquiries and calls, and;
  • Assisting in miscellaneous day-to-day general office duties.

Requirements:

  • Studying or completing a law degree;
  • A strong work and academic history as a student;
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office;
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;

Excellent interpersonal skills and a real passion for learning are required. You should have exceptional English language skills both written and oral, a high level of attention to detail, and strong organisational and time-management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Taxation and finance degree;
  • Experience in LEAP.
