We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the technical aspects of our Airbus A220 flight operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fleet management, with experience in implementing new aircraft systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to flight operations, including manual and policy development, IT change management, long-term technical capability planning, and introducing new features such as RNP-AR and flight idle descent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading aircraft implementation technical planning projects, developing practical, safe, and compliant manuals for the A220 flight operation, and leading and influencing technical teams to deliver programs that meet key objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for flight operations
  • Leading aircraft implementation technical planning projects
  • Developing practical, safe, and compliant manuals for the A220 flight operation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of operational aviation experience
  • ATPL with narrow-body jet aircraft experience preferred
  • A220 experience or Type Rating preferred
  • Qualification/experience in previous Entry into Service activity
  • Qualification/experience in business and/or Airline operational management
  • Qualification/experience in change/program management
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively
  • A working knowledge of CASA or equivalent regulations and industry guidance and requirements
  • A detailed knowledge of operations manuals suites
  • A working knowledge of safety management systems and supporting systems
