
Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team in a predominantly dayshift environment, Monday to Friday, without the need for regular mine site travel.
This position is ideal for those looking to start their career as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in the mining industry or for those seeking a stable workshop-based role with opportunities for upskilling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with machine overhauls and component change out
- Carry out general repairs and servicing
- Carry out necessary work to ensure equipment is mine-site compliant
Requirements:
- Relevant Trade Certificate - Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
- Class 'C' Drivers licence
- Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry
- Experience in general maintenance, diagnosis, component changed outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment
- Self motivation and a strong work ethic
