Heavy Vehicle Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy vehicles and be part of a dynamic team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles to the highest standards. This includes analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems, planning jobs and ordering parts, working to job cards and identifying additional works required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and diagnose mechanical problems in heavy vehicles
  • Plan and coordinate jobs to ensure efficient completion
  • Work to job cards and identify additional works required
  • Complete all necessary paperwork regarding work performed
  • Maintain a commitment to safety in the workplace

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • A trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Diagnostics experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic
  • A driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
