Amentum is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our temporary quarters (TQ) lodging and site-wide facilities. This role is vital in maintaining high standards for our customers, contracted personnel, and business travelers.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute custodial tasks across various operational buildings and support areas.
Oversee laundry operations for temporary quarters.
Utilize custodial equipment to polish floors and steam clean carpets effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness by dusting and removing cobwebs.
Dispose of waste from temporary quarters and designated locations.
Manage supplies necessary for TQs and operational areas.
Conduct inventory management of custodial supplies.
Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Valid Driver's License.
- Desirable: Certifications in CPR, White Card, Working at Heights, and Health Safety Representative Training.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum Requirement: Experience in the Hospitality or Industrial Custodial sector.
Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Capable of lifting up to 10kgs, kneeling, standing, and walking.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, mental alertness, and capacity to work under pressure.
