We are currently seeking a highly skilled Legal Support Officer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Law Clerk or Conveyancing Clerk to utilize their expertise in property conveyancing, file management and administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all conveyancing files are properly managed and completed efficiently, while also providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of conveyancing documentation, including contracts, vendor statements, and transfer forms;
  • Prepare and lodge subdivision documentation with the relevant authorities;
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, banks, and government agencies to ensure timely completion of transactions;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transaction progress;
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents as required;
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail and faxes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in property conveyancing or law;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and PEXA, with experience in using these tools to prepare and manage conveyancing documentation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders;
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in all work products.
