Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field observations and occupational hygiene assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Perform inspections for hazardous materials and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor indoor and outdoor air quality to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare technical reports and hazardous management plans to mitigate risks.
  • Provide governance in health and hygiene-related incidents and investigations, managing records and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Track the progress of implemented controls and manage related non-conformities.
  • Maintain the Global Industrial Hygiene software to ensure accurate data management.

Requirements

  • Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists or equivalent certification.
  • Completion of the AIOH Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course or equivalent.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Full Australian Driving Licence.
