Procurement Strategy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategy Manager to oversee the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services required for biologics manufacturing. This role will play a crucial part in developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing teams. They will also possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management processes.\
  • Overseeing the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services required for biologics manufacturing.\
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.\
  • Managing relationships with local and global suppliers.\
  • Monitoring market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes.\
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and sourcing activities.\
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to track purchasing and sourcing performance.\
  • Reporting regularly to management on procurement and sourcing activities.\

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.\
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.\
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing teams.\
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.\
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management principles.\
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical procurement is highly desirable.\
  • Proficiency in using SAP is preferred.\
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify insights, and drive data-driven decision-making.\
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.\
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management.\
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biologics industry.\

    - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    - Must be fluent in English Language
