About the Role:

The Project Assistant Manager is responsible for driving projects to completion on-time, within budget, while providing an outstanding experience for our clients.

This role involves coordinating all activities with the Project Manager and project team to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities with the Project Manager and project team.
  • Own project finances, including preparing and managing project budgets.
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date contract documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare project construction schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent and required subcontractor input.
  • Capture and implement the final project budget, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Issue subcontracts to qualified vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and manage a master submittal schedule and submittal log to track progress.
  • Coordinate regular owner and subcontractor meetings to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Administer the resolution to project-specific issues, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist the Superintendent in implementing SBBCC's on-site quality control and safety procedures.
  • Review, document, and process all project-specific Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) forms.
  • Prepare and obtain approval for all Owner Change Order Requests, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Distribute and manage all subcontractor Change Orders and associated budget revisions.
  • Generate and distribute monthly Owner Applications for payment, ensuring timely invoicing.
  • Oversee project administrative logs and close-out activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness among team members, emphasizing the importance of a safety-first mindset.
