Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical / Process

IPS are seeking a Brisbane based Senior Project Engineer with Mechanical / Process experience to join our team and support our client in delivering a significant infrastructure project in North Queensland. We are looking for candidates who can support our team with the following:

  • Assist the client side project team with design reviews and project engineering support, including RFIs, QA documentation, and ITP reviews.
  • Monitor the contractor's QA documentation progression, ensure all records comply with project requirements and maintain accurate document control.
  • Manage document control functions, ensuring records are correctly stored in SharePoint and document registers.
  • Track and monitor the contractor's program, providing updates to the client side project team.
  • Assist in assessing Extension of Time and Variation claims, preparing supporting documentation.
  • Support monthly program reviews and track project health, identifying changes and impacts.
  • Assist in dispute resolution and assessment of formal submissions by the contractor.
  • Conduct weekly site inspections in North Queensland.
