We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals working in residential aged care facilities across metro Adelaide and regional South Australia.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll work collaboratively with our dedicated team to deliver high-quality patient care. You'll be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and performing procedures as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, using established protocols and systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  1. AHPRA registration and current clinical competencies.
  2. Minimum 12 months post-graduate experience in aged care or a related field.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  4. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
