In various locations throughout South Australia, we offer Retirement Living, Residential Aged Care (Nursing Home), and Affordable Housing.Our mission is to support veterans, their dependents, and the broader ageing community through a range of integrated retirement living and aged care services.About the Role:We are currently seeking a dynamic Casual Aged Care Support Worker to join us at Woodlands Grove Retirement Estate, located in Mount Gambier.
The individual will be self-motivated with a genuine interest and ability to make a difference in the lives of our residents, enabling individual choice and opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the service and delivery of meals to our residents.Assist with resident activities and domestic duties.Ensure residents' comfort and dignity at all times.Recognise health and environmental hazards and be proactive in corrective action.Passive/on-call sleepover shifts are required, with an apartment room provided.About You:Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual SupportDemonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.Fully vaccinated against InfluenzaExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAppreciation and acceptance of diverse cultures and lifestylesNational Police check clearanceYou will be paid under the Aged Care Award – Direct Care – Level 3, with salary packaging options available to increase take-home pay.If you are passionate about a career in Aged Care in a progressive organisation and possess a respectful, caring, and friendly manner, we would love to hear from you.How to Apply:To apply, upload your Covering Letter detailing how you meet the requirements of this position and your CV outlining your work history.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.
