We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Educational Leader to join our team in The State Of Queensland. As Deputy Principal, you will play a key role in delivering improved student outcomes across various areas.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will excel in coaching, building relationships, and facilitating transitions. They will lead collaborative problem-solving and teacher development, especially for early-career educators, while tracking student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Leadership: Lead instructional leadership initiatives, track student progress, and develop teachers through coaching and collaboration.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan by working with cohort and curriculum leaders to focus on age-appropriate pedagogies.
  • Community Engagement: Foster family involvement in their child's learning, ensuring safety, respect, and belonging within the school community.
  • Visibility and Operations: Be present in classrooms, manage daily operations, student behavior, and key school events.
  • Change Management: Spearhead PBL initiatives and manage educational change effectively.
  • Inclusion: Understand NCCD and NDIS to support compliance and student needs.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • Experience: Experience in early childhood education and instructional leadership.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to lead teams and foster professional growth.
