This critical role will involve working closely with our Risk Metrics & Measurement department to design and implement adaptable models that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders. You'll be responsible for providing stakeholders with clear insights into potential climate-related risks and opportunities across the bank's portfolios.

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting informed decision-making and developing sustainable portfolio strategies that align with our commitment to a resilient and sustainable future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement stress testing / ECL models to integrate climate risk
  • Collaborate with data engineers to source and establish climate risk datasets
  • Ensure seamless delivery of Climate related regulatory disclosures for various geographies
  • Communicate complex modelling concepts to non-technical stakeholders through clear presentations and reports

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive banking experience within Credit Risk Modelling, Climate Risk Modelling or Climate Risk Regulatory disclosures, Stress Testing, Forecasting
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex modelling concepts to non-technical stakeholders
