Job Description

The Victorian Government's Department of Families, Fairness and Housing is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to lead the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio.

This role requires expertise in data-driven analysis, portfolio planning, and capital delivery. The successful candidate will oversee the development of assets and initiatives that result in a holistic, person-centred approach to SDA development.

The Manager, Portfolio Planning and Capital Delivery leads a team responsible for delivering construction projects of contemporary, fit-for-purpose, and resident-centric dwellings that are financially sustainable. This position works closely with the broader Disability Homes Victoria (DHV) team to ensure the department's SDA offering meets the needs and preferences of eligible NDIS participants.

  • Develop a pipeline of SDA housing projects for Disability Homes Victoria, working collaboratively with other branches across DHV and the department.
  • Apply innovative thinking to propose solutions and recommendations to senior management to address SDA portfolio challenges.
