About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Delivery Specialist to join our team at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools. As a key member of our Planning & Infrastructure Group, you will play a critical role in supporting and working collaboratively with our schools to manage the delivery of school infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project stakeholders, including superintendents, contractors, and consultants, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Ensure all project risks are documented and escalated as required, and provide regular reporting to school Principals and senior managers.
  • Deliver school infrastructure projects against quality, time, and cost parameters, and identify and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects remain within agreed parameters.
  • Support individual schools to prioritize projects to meet future enrolment demands and deliver infrastructure that is safe, compliant, and flexible.
  • Ensure all post-occupancy information is obtained, recorded, and building compliance requirements are shared with the Facilities Team to ensure the school is meeting its ongoing compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated successful experience within infrastructure management, such as project management, engineering, architecture, or strategic asset management functions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of spatial planning and workflow within an educational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery and management of infrastructure projects, compliance, and reporting.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefings, and policy documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior personnel in Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools and the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne.
  • Strong reporting and project management skills, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
