Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Delivery Team Lead to join our Operations Services team at the Water Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading the efficient delivery of complex capital and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to project managers in the delivery of projects, including scoping, design, construction, commissioning, and handover of assets.
  • Manage project controls and reporting requirements into our systems.
  • Monitor, control, review, and forecast project outcomes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and implement procurement and contract establishment strategies and plans for allocated project portfolios.
  • Negotiate, establish, and administer contracts, including analysis of bids and recommendations for contract award.
  • Manage and coordinate team activities to deliver financial and organisational performance outcomes.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, community representatives, local government, regulatory agencies, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Qualification in engineering, project management, or equivalent discipline.
  • Substantial experience in providing engineering project management services, including construction management and engineering tendering.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive and high-performance culture.
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
