Job Title

Lead a small team engaged in a range of activities, including information technology systems support, as well as research and design of enhancements to systems and processes within the Revenue Branch.

As part of the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance, the Revenue Branch (the State Revenue Office) is responsible for administering a number of state taxation, grant and rebate laws.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a small team; managing digital projects from design to implementation; is analytical and communicates effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a small team engaged in a range of activities, including information technology systems support, as well as research and design of enhancements to systems and processes within the Revenue Branch.

  • Review existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and deliver enhancements to business systems that directly support the administration of Tasmania's taxation, grant and rebate schemes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system business users, developers, and management to ensure solutions are practical and effective.
