Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team in the Upper Hunter region. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' sites, as well as providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with MSS Security and customer SLA requirements
- Liaise with management and clients to investigate incidents and resolve issues
- Assist with disciplinary actions and ensure personnel conform to company policy
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure procedures are updated and maintained
- Manage radio communications and ensure effective and efficient management of security devices
- Review sites regularly to ensure procedures align with site risk factors
- Provide advice and guidance on risk and performance management issues
- Ensure security officers are correctly uniformed and licensed
- Promote customer service and provide courteous assistance to client enquiries
- Identify training and development needs
- Provide feedback and recognition to employees
- Rectify employee issues and provide guidance and coaching
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and achieve a positive employee relations environment
- Provide leadership by example and back-up coverage of shifts in critical circumstances
