About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bus Driver who can effectively manage driving duties while fostering a positive passenger experience. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Driving Safely and Efficiently: Operate buses in accordance with regulations and ensure punctuality, delivering passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations.
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: Interact with passengers in a friendly, helpful manner, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating as Part of a Team: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and maintain a cohesive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate buses according to schedule and traffic conditions.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing queries and concerns in a courteous manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow drivers and support staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Medium Rigid (MR) Licence or Higher: Possess a valid MR licence or higher, demonstrating expertise in operating heavy vehicles.
  • Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) Authorisation: Hold a current PTD authorisation or be willing to obtain it, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Working with Children Check: Have or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check, allowing safe interaction with minors during transportation duties.
  • National Police Clearance: Maintain a National Police Clearance within the past 3 months, verifying suitability for employment.
